Johnny Winter ~ JOHN DAWSON WINTER III, 1974 original 1st press Columbia LP, $58 + S / H

1974 original Columbia Records LP pressing #PZ 33292, cover NM, still in the original shrink with 2 stickers, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings, vinyl NM, NO scratches, plays excellent.  When Johnny Winter wakes up in Paradise, he will no longer be an albino!  He will have no need to sing the Blues!  But his brother Edgar might still be singing and playing Jazz....  We'll have to "wait & see", won't we?  I missed this album when it came out in 1974, so much going on during my junior year in High School, but I got a copy this millennium, ha!  Johnny Winter, one of the greatest musical heroes of my youth was trying to change, or a better word would be "expand" his musical horizons with this album.  Even the front cover photo is different, a dapper gentleman, not his usual "wild man" image!  It is a bit more Pop than usual, but he still plays The Blues and Rock & Roll here.
