Here's proof of if you're good at it and you love what you do, you will go far! 1987 original promotional use only Island Records 2LP pressing #90684-1, Gatefold cover M-, NO seam or spine splits, saw-mark on top spine area (as it's a promo), NO ring-wear, vinyl M-, NO scratches, plays excellent. UK born Christopher Percy Gordon Blackwell started his record label Island Records in Jamaica in 1958 with a $10,000 start-up investment by his parents, started recording Jamaican acts in 1959. Returning to Britain in 1962, he sold his newly formed Island Records from the back of his car to the Jamaican community at 1st, then to the world! The music on this 25th Anniversary 2LP is just a sampling of the great music that has passed through his hands! In 1989 he sold his interest in Island Records for a reported $300,000,000! Credited with "exposing " Reggae music to the World!
