A great selection of all kinds of Jazz recorded live July 16th, 17th & 19th, 1975 at The Montreux International Jazz Festival, Switzerland. The music here is exclusive to these 2 LPs!

1977 original Columbia Masterworks Records LP pressing, cover VG (creased on ALL 4 corners because the fellow I bought it from did a VERY poor job of packaging it! ONLY wrapping it in brown paper, NO cardboard, ensuring that it would get "man-handled" by the US Postal Service, and it did! NO seam or spine splits, NO ring-wear, NO cut-out markings, does have 2 autographs from the guys in the band! Vinyl M-, NO scratches, plays excellent. I have enjoyed it for over 20 years, but I'm thinning out the herd.

1983 original Fable Records LP pressing #F666, cover M-, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings, NO ring-wear, shelf wear, wear on corners, original printed lyrics inner sleeve VG++, creased, NO seams busted, vinyl M-, NO scratches, plays excellent. Fable Records (from Austin, Texas) had on their roster: 47 X It's Own Weight; Beto & The Fairlanes; Steamheat; Starcrost; Jazzmanian Devil; and a few others. In the late 1990s when we lived in Austin, I got to see Tomas Ramirez (AKA The Jazzmanian Devil) play "live" in a small hamburger joint on South Lamar with Tex Thomas & The Wranglin' Danglers (which included the world famous drummer Frosty from Lee Michaels, Sweathog, The Texas Mavericks, Soul Hat, and so many other great rock bands), and Tomas was playing saxophone and they did an Amazing(!) set! That's the closest I've ever been to a Van Morrison concert circa 1973, it was that soulful. Then Tex Thomas came over to my table (I was with some record collectors & record label owners from Italy & France, I would take them around town and show them the best places to eat & hear live music at) and he called me an "Indian" & ruined the moment. Ha! But you know, that night Tex did sing almost like Van, very beautiful, and very soulful.
