Bob Dylan / Neil Young ~ Spanish Leather / Pacific Northwest 1988, 1989 original Tropo LP, $500 + S / H
1989 original Tropo Records LP pressing #318, cover NM, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings, NO ring-wear, price sticker on top back corner, vinyl NM, NO scratches, plays excellent. Recorded live at Concord Pavilion, Concord, California (USA), June 7, 1988. This is actually the very 1st concert of "The Never Ending Tour", which went on for 31 years, 6 months, & 1 day! Then the devilish CCP (China) virus was unleashed on the world & shows scheduled from April 1, 2020 to July 12, 2020 were all cancelled because of the "lock downs" world-wide. 40 shows in all, were cancelled, from Japan to Bethel, New York (the place where the 1969 Woodstock Music & Art Fair had been staged, ironically). Bob has started "rolling again" since November 2, 2021, but has decided to call this new tour, the "Rough And Rowdy Ways" Tour (after his 2020 album) which should take him into 2024. The band here in 1988 included Kenny Aaronson -bass; Christopher Parker -drums; G. E. Smith -electric guitar; and Neil Young -electric guitar on songs A1 - A5, and the last 2 songs on side 2 (B4, B5). Songs B1 - B3 are acoustic numbers with only Bob Dylan & G. E. Smith on acoustic guitars. Songs A1, B2 & B4 are "live" debuts (along with "Subterranean Homesick Blues" which was the 1st song of the concert & not included here! Also missing from the concert are "In The Garden" & "Like A Rolling Stone"). B1 was played live by Bob Dylan for the 1st time since 1961! B4 is the 1st electric version ever!

Bob Dylan ~ Important Words, 1993 Germany press CDr / Not For Sale
Dylan jamming... originally released in 1993 as a Germany pressing by Wanted Man Music (a bootleg record company dedicated to releasing only Bob Dylan material), this was sent to me (for FREE!) by one of my Italian collector friends. This is an interesting live jam session with a relaxed Zimmy, doing some rock-n-roll classics mixed in with some of his own material. The "Twist & Shout" (a Beatles hit) & "In The Summertime" (Mungo Jerry hit from 1970) tracks are simply wild & beautiful!

2004 original Deep in the Heart of Texas #032, Limited #'d Edition 2CDr, #1 out of only 7 copies made. Recorded live at City Coliseum, Austin, Texas, October 25, 1991. This was actually my 1st live Bob Dylan concert experience, the SAME night that promoter Bill Graham lost his life in a helicopter crash on the west coast! (We found out the next day.) It was a great show, though! I seem to remember Jesse "Guitar" Taylor (ex-The Flatlanders & The Joe Ely Band) playing acoustic guitar on both of the Jimmie Dale Gilmore guest tunes, also playing acoustic guitar. Then Charlie Sexton came out, kissed Dylan's cheek & played electric guitar on "Everything Is Broken"!
