1982 original made in Italy Penguin Egg Records 2LP pressing #EGG 11 / 12, cover VG++, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings, NO ring-wear, some shelf wear on back & 1 corner creased / bent. Vinyl M-, NO scratches, plays excellent This European bootleg label released some of the most rare recordings coming out of the San Francisco Bay area in the late 1960s! Most of these LPs are pretty rare & the material is even rarer! Here we have The Byrds (live March 29, 1967 in Sweden!) on side 1, Country Weather unreleased 1969 demos on side 2, Kaliedoscope (w David Lindley, etc.) live at the Berkeley Folk Festival, July 4, 1967, and assorted heavies on side 4 (including 2 songs by The Factory [w Lowell George]; + 1 song each by The Mystery Trend [w Ron Nagle]; Dino Valente (pre-Quicksilver Messenger Service); The International Submarine Band [w Gram Parsons]; The Misfits [w Bob Mosley pre-Moby Grape]; The Vibra-Sonics [w Joey Covington pre-Jefferson Airplane]; The American Four [w Arthur Lee (pre-Love)] )...

1982 original made in Europe Penguin Records LP pressing #EGG EIGHT, Limited Edition of only 700 copies made! Cover M-, NO seam or spine splits, NO cut-out markings, NO ring-wear, vinyl M-, NO scratches, plays excellent in superb sound quality. Tracks 1 - 5 recorded live in 1970, Nico Paffgen & John Cale on vocals, guitar, harmonium. Tracks 6 & 7 were originally released on Immediate SINGLE #IM 003, 8/26/1965. Track 8 is an unreleased studio outtake from the "Academy in Peril" sessions, featuring a piano solo by John Cale. All tracks excellent stereo.

Side 1 has acoustic songs from folkies Jerry & Sarah Garcia, Pigpen & Peter Albin both from 1963 + some live electric jamming by The Grateful Dead with The Beach Boys from The Fillmore East in 1971. Side 2 has Love from The Fillmore West in 1970. Side 3 has Hot Tuna with their original non-commercial name [which record execs hated] from 1969! Side 4 has the infamous Mad River from 1967 + Blue Cheer from 1968.
